This class goes beyond the "what" to teach students "how" to successfully apply Lean thinking to solve business problems from any industry.
Over the course of five days, you will learn about advanced Lean tools such as SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die), Kanban (pull systems) and TPM (Total Performance Management). In addition, you will explore in more depth basic Lean concepts including mistake proofing, visual control and 5S. Along with interactive lectures, you'll be able to participate in many hands-on activities designed to make learning more fun and improve retention.
