| | Affiliate Sponsor: | Breakthrough Management Group, Inc. | | Date(s) of Program: | August 10-14, 2009 | | Location: | Denver, CO | | | Length of Program: | 5 Days | | Target Audience: | Most appropriate for Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts that have completed at least one Six Sigma project. | | Description: | Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is a powerful problem solving methodology aimed at tackling core product development issues. If you are in a role of developing new products from an R&D perspective, you will benefit from learning the tools and methods this course will teach you for foreseeing and eliminating potential defects before and during the design process. This five-day program delivers a thorough education on DFSS's DMADV (Define-Measure-Analyze-Design-Verify) methodology and is designed to help business professionals master a variety of techniques to enhance the design process.
DFSS is built around the idea that design is a truly cross functional undertaking rather than simple the sole responsibility of a product designer. While statistical design tools are integral to this course, you will also learn about VOC (Voice of the Customer), financial analysis and supplier selection.
