Neal Mackertich
Systems Product Optimization,
Raytheon (Master Black Belt)

Dr. Neal Mackertich is an Engineering Fellow and founder of the Raytheon Six Sigma Institute. A Six Sigma Master versatile in technical background (Chemical, Electrical and Software Engineering) and application experience (from Systems product and process design to transactional deployment), Neal is presently responsible for the Systems Engineering enablement of Mission Assurance through product and process optimization strategies (including DFSS and CAIV) within Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business. Since deploying Six Sigma as a business strategy in January of 1999, Raytheon Six Sigma efforts have resulted in over $3 Billion in financial benefits.
