Enterprise Transformation
Host:Advanced Integrated Technologies Group
Category:Theme
Parent:6th Annual ISSSP Leadership Conference
Summary:

Enterprise Transformation is about the continuum of business performance capability and maturity allowing you to create a sustainable competitive advantage. When Enterprise Transformation is done correctly, the whole is more than the parts. With a coordinated, integrated approach to change, an organization is able to move faster and accomplish more. In effect, the organization is able to transform itself in response to strategic opportunities.

Enterprise Transformation links customer requirements to corporate strategy and to an execution plan that iterates the three on a real time basis. This is accomplished through the integration of three primary components: Leadership and implementation skills to execute, Technology to help identify and track it all and Business Process Frameworks to validate and prioritize opportunities. By synergistically leveraging methodology with technology, companies can achieve alignment of corporate strategy and business performance goals.

To achieve Enterprise Transformation, a company evolves from using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, BPM and technology platforms in a standalone mode, to a leveraged business value creation perspective. Once companies understand how these methodologies and technologies jointly effect and deliver results into any functional area of their business; a company begins to focus on how to create value versus performing routine work activities.

The Knowledge Revolution is under way and has sparked fierce competition for companies to develop better data driven strategies to deliver superior customer value. If an organization is going to execute strategy into business results, use data to base its decisions and use operational frameworks to guide its path, a critical mass of employees are going to have to acquire these abilities quickly and effectively and eventually, the total organization will need these skills. It has become the way a thriving company is managed and run.
