Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt –UH Conneaut Medical Center,Conneaut, OH 2006 to Present
Primary oversight of the facility–wide Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement program including: mentoring of Belts (Green & Black); coordinating LSS projects; aligning projects with organizational goals; designing and implementing LSS educational and training materials pertinent to clinical settings; facilitation of Teams; serving as a resource for clinical and non clinical departments on issues of process improvement, cost reduction and more effective throughput; conducting Muda (Waste) Walks throughout organization to identify and begin elimination of waste in all forms; facilitating changes to improve patient safety, Joint Commission compliance, and CORE quality issues; provide Team Orientated Problem Solving (TOPS), Green Belt and related education and training to all staff. Member of Kent State University's Lean Six Sigma Advisory Steering Committee.
