The energy industry forum addresses the major challenges and opportunities confronting the unique cultural, logistical, and process challenges of this industry. The objective of the Energy Industry Forum is to support the adoption of Lean Six Sigma across the energy value chain. The forum will allow leaders from oil and gas exploration and production, refining, distribution and service sectors to share their experiences with deployments and applications within their companies.

The format starts with a 15-minute long strategic view of how these methodologies are applied with special insights on techniques for achieving results. Next there will be a number of examples of how structured process improvements have been successfully applied, followed by various presenters who will deliver insights from each area of energy in 20-minute presentations.

Additionally there will be moderated discussions on topics of interest to the participants via panel and roundtable discussions. These presentations will clearly demonstrate the ability to achieve a broad application for improvements within the energy industry. The outcome at a minimum is a set of common knowledge and approaches for broad scale improvements across the complete supply chain of the industry.
