Continual Improvement for Social Responsibility requires the ability to influence without authority, a skill that Belts develop, leading cross-functional project teams. We know that command and control works only a small fraction of the time and not for long periods.|
While Six Sigma has many tools designed to “mistake proof” our processes, it is not reasonable to expect that we can design irresponsibility out of the system. CISR is about behaviors.
We need to consider the cognitive and behavioral elements of our organizations, industries and other stakeholders in the product lifecycle. How do we build organizational and social structures to assure responsible behavior? The Influencer Model is one of the leadership techniques included in the CISR Toolbox.
Presented on behalf of Xerox MBB Cheryl Adas, We will examine how the Vital Smarts Influencer is used to ensure that they have all the elements to enable a successful Managed Print or Enterprise Print Services implementation. This CSR pioneer has documented success of the multi-pronged Influencer approach across different industries that have successfully implemented Xerox Managed Print and Enterprise Print Services.
In this interactive session, additional approaches, including Tribal Leadership will be explored and participants will discuss challenges they see in implementing CISR. You will return to your organization with insights that you can apply right away! Participants will receive a CISR Workbook, with contributions from experts at CSC, Kaiser Aluminum, Harvard University, Xerox and more.
