Description:

Any process improvement effort to improve a system's output must consider the effects of interdependencies among processes. Hence, the system must be optimized continuously, not just the processes. Lean and Six Sigma integration has delivered very impressive results across many industries and, most recently, in government and defense. The latest developments involve the integration of TOC with Lean Six Sigma. This combination, which is being pioneered in the U.S. Navy, is proving to deliver powerful results by focusing on the system, identifying constraints and removing waste and defects from processes.
