Situational Leadership
Category:Training
Facilitator:Joelle Hadley, the Culture Coaches
At:Workshops
Room:Monday Track 2
Abstract:Are you known for one kind of leadership style? Do you call yourself an "involved" manager? How about a hands-off leader? The reality is, there is no best leadership style. It depends on the situation and the person.

Learn the power of matching your leadership style to your people's needs through Situational Leadership. Situational Leadership is a fundamental leadership development concept that helps people become more self-motivated and self directed by looking at two key areas: an employee's development level and a manager's leadership style.

This workshop will teach you how most humans learn new skills and tasks through a combination of factors - their current of knowledge and skills along with their motivation and confidence. You will also learn the four key ways to manage those development stages through more directive or or more supportive leadership styles.
