Brian Brooksby
BPM Program Lead,
Intel Corporation (Black Belt)

Brian currently is the Business Process Management Program lead in the Business Process Engineering group at Intel Corporation. Brian is certified in both the Business Process Management and Business Process Re-engineering methodologies. He manages the training, mentoring, and certification programs for both methods at Intel Corporation, as is responsible for driving adoption of BPM across the company. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green belt, currently working on his Black Belt. He is the account manager for the Human Resources business group, and has mentored BPM and BPR projects across Intel business groups for the last 5 years.

Brian received a B.S. degree from Devry University in 1989 in Electronic Engineering Technology. In 1991 Brian joined a small consulting company where he was the principle consultant, working with hundreds of businesses to analyze their business processes and develop workflow applications in Lotus Notes. Brian joined Intel in 1995 to develop and manage workflow applications in Notes to the Sales organization. He has spent his career working with both business and IT teams to do process improvement, and translate business and technical language across teams. Brian worked with the field sales force, human resources, and the corporate intranet team before joining the Business Process Engineering team in 2005.

Brian is active in the community and his church, working with young people. He has been a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America for 25 years. He is the district training chairman for the Firebird District of the Boy Scouts, training over 250 scout leaders a year on leadership and outdoor skills. He spends his spare time enjoying time with his wife of 25 years and his 5 children.
