| Best Practices On-Demand | | With the completion of the Instantis customer best practice fall Focused Session series in November, we achieved a couple milestones for our Focused Session program. Since 2006 we have sponsored 15 customer-led Focused Sessions (24 in total) in collaboration with ISSSP. Over 2,500 individuals registered for the live events and many more watched the recorded webcasts. Through this vehicle you have had the opportunity to leverage peer successes and best practices in focused areas like project selection, financial reporting, knowledge management and training. Looking at this body of wisdom collectively from 50,000 feet, some interesting inferences can be made about what our Webinar leaders chose to talk about most and what drew the largest audiences. The most popular topics were global user adoption, strategy alignment, and program governance. - The preponderance of Webinar dialogue over the years supports the conclusion that employee buy-in is the single biggest driver of transformative success.
- This can be achieved with strong leadership which can be institutionalized in the program governance model.
- Strategy alignment ensures that everybody is working on the right things validating leadership and, in turn, further stimulating employee buy-in.
Conclusion: Get your program in synch with the leadership and strategic agenda and individual contributors will follow. If you are looking for more ideas on a specific topic area, please visit our Guide to Recorded Webinars where you will find a matrix of Webinar topics and presenting organizations.
